Seeking Award and Scholarship Nominations! Deadline Extended


It is nomination season for excellence in prevention, treatment and advocacy.  Nominate yourself, your friend or your colleague for a scholarship or award.  Advocacy awards are open to youth and adults as individuals or groups.

New Futures is once again seeking nominations for the Tom Fox Scholarships, Advocacy in Action and Youth in Action Awards. Awards will be presented this fall at our annual Leadership Recognition and Awards Celebration.

Are you or someone in your community working to reduce alcohol and other drug problems?  Do you know someone who demonstrates exemplary work in the treatment or prevention field?  Nominate them (or yourself) by September 10st!  Please alert others in your community about this opportunity to recognize good work in the area of substance use prevention and treatment or grassroots efforts to reduce the mpact of substance use disorders in our state.  

Tom Fox Scholarship for Prevention & Treatment
These scholarships recognize two individuals, one in prevention and one in treatment, who currently work in direct services in the field of alcohol and other drug abuse prevention and recovery.  These individuals demonstrate excellence in their work and make exemplary contributions to the delivery of prevention and treatment services in New Hampshire. 
 
Advocacy in Action Award
This award recognizes the grassroots advocacy efforts of an individual or group, either on a state or local level. It is hoped that this award will encourage others to engage in advocacy strategies as a way to affect underage alcohol problems or access to treatment in NH.

Youth in Action Award
This award encourages all youth to become involved and recognizes the outstanding work of young people in preventing the problems that result from underage drinking.  Submissions will be accepted for individuals under the age of 21 or groups comprised primarily of school-aged or college-aged youth.
