CONCORD, NH: New Futures is pleased to announce Ike Sriskandarajah as guest speaker at their inaugural news media workshop It’s Not the Daily Planet Anymore: Working with the Media to Effectively Get Your Message Out. This event will take place from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM on Friday, May 11th, at the New Hampshire Institute of Politics at Saint Anselm College located in Manchester, NH. Non-profit professionals involved in communications, marketing and PR for their organizations are encouraged to register quickly, as space is limited.

CONCORD, NH: New Futures,White Birch Communications Group and the Endowment for Health announced this week that they will offer a news media workshop on Friday, May 11th, 2012. Hosted at the New Hampshire Institute for Politics at Saint Anselm College, the event will run from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Participants will learn a variety of techniques for generating news, capturing media attention, and successfully managing messages through diverse media outlets including television, radio and print. The daylong event is targeted at the New Hampshire nonprofit community.

Durham, NH – On Friday, October 14, 2011, at its annual Recognition Event, New Futures honored New Hampshire legislators and citizens who have made extraordinary efforts to reduce problems associated with alcohol and other drugs in New Hampshire. The event was held at the University of New Hampshire Durham campus. New Futures presented awards to individuals and groups who have demonstrated leadership in alcohol and other drug problem advocacy efforts in New Hampshire.
