SB 120 (relative to alcoholic beverage advertising restrictions) which would eliminate all restrictions on “Happy Hour” advertising – and would allow large exterior signs, and radio, television, and print media advertising of cheap booze. This bill has died in the Senate several times in the last 3 years but, given the number of sponsors on the bill and the legislature’s “business friendly” orientation, we envision a hard fight. The bill is scheduled for its public hearing on 3/15 at 10:00 AM in the Senate Commerce Committee.
