We've provided a brief overview of good habits that will make you an effective advocate who is able to express opinions and share information in a way that others take notice.
Advocacy Toolkit
New Futures, through the Community Leadership Initiative, offers a comprehensive day-long training to prepare New Hampshire citizens to advocate on behalf of the issues they care about. Offered several times per year, it is a unique opportunity to meet the New Futures staff, learn more about alcohol and other drug policy in New Hampshire, and to practice using the tools and templates we've developed to assist your effects to advocate on behalf of adequate preventing, treatment and recover support and services. But there is no reason to wait! We offer many templates, scripts and guidelines right here, so you can start voicing your concerns as well as your support for effective policy.
