Community Leadership Initiative
We recruit, train, and engage community leaders to reduce underage alcohol problems and increase access to treatment in New Hampshire.

Advocacy
We promote effective public policies (laws, regulations, ordinances, and practices) to reduce alcohol, and other drug problems, through advocacy, public education, and lobbying.

Monthly e-Update
We disseminate a brief, monthly e-mail publication, which provides an update on New Futures news, pending legislation, key alcohol and other drug-related New Hampshire news, and events. There are currently 1,400 New Hampshire subscribers to the e-Update. More

Publications
Our publications highlight the scope and harm of alcohol, tobacco, and other drug problems in New Hampshire. We manage a New Hampshire-based website presenting comprehensive information and links to local, state, and national resources to reduce alcohol, tobacco, and other drug problems.

Leadership Dialogues
We convene public, private, and non-profit leaders to plan, develop, implement, and evaluate cost-effective strategies to reduce the economic, health, and social costs related to alcohol, and other drug-related problems.

Grant Making

The Adolescent Treatment Initiative
In January 2004, New Hampshire Charitable Foundation (NHCF) announced a commitment of $5 million ($1 million per year for 5 years) for a partnership with New Futures to fund the Adolescent Treatment Initiative (ATI). The long-term goal of the Adolescent Treatment Initiative is to ensure a public-private partnership that is committed and responsive to adolescent alcohol and other drug treatment needs in New Hampshire. This initiative will include resources to 1) support community-based adolescent treatment services and 2) enhance the capacity of a comprehensive statewide treatment system for adolescents. More
