Thank you TJ Maxx for Doing the Right Thing
I was relieved to see that one of my favorite 'fashionista' locations -  TJ Maxx  - did the right thing recently when they voluntarily removed all of the "drinking games" they had for sale as part of their Father's Day promotions. An inquiry from a Boston Globe reporter asking about drinking and driving, underage alcohol use, prom season and their relationship to the drinking games, resulted in TJ Maxx swiftly removing the items from their stores. Too bad for the reporter who didn't have a juicy story to write - good for those of us who are concerned about all the subtle - and not so subtle - messages to drink, drink, drink.  Nice to see corporate America doing the "right thing".    It's easy to say THANK YOU to TJ Maxx, thanks to Join Together.
Thank you for letting us know when companies do the right thing as well as the wrong thing. We hear so much of the lack of common sense it is great to hear that some companies still have common sense.Thank you for the link to TJMAXX also. I did thank them for doing the right thing.

As a parent recently helping their teen navigate through prom and graduation season, it is encouraging to learn about these positive actions by TJ Maxx. Thank you to New Futures for sharing this timely information.
