VICTORY today for all who have worked tirelessly to expand access to treatment for folks with co-occuring substance abuse and mental health disorders in the State of NH.  Following the Houses passage, the Senate passed HB 410 (the Master LADC bill) today by a unanimous voice vote with no discussion.  Since the Senate did not amend the House version, the bill should begin making its way to the Governor's Office for signature.  This revision of the Licensed Alcohol and other Drug Counselor bill allows qualified Master’s prepared MLADCs to treat co-occuring mental health disorders concurrently with the alcohol or drug use disorder that they are already treating.  Thank you to everyone who made calls and provided testimony in favor of this change!
